Giampaolo Mameli’s production is characterized by diverse and original ceramic techniques. Bucchero is used skillfully, employing the stralucido (polishing) technique which creates naturally smooth surfaces, crossed by simple, linear strokes. On the other hand is a patchwork of texture, writing and etching, which gives depth to the rigorous monochrome black piece, sometimes lit up by gold leaf inserts.

The Raku technique is used in a unique and personal way, enhancing the surface textures through the contrast of primary colors, or employing a bright palette with refined chromatic pairings.
